THE CROSSING

The crossing is a psychological drama about the struggles of 38 year-old Terry (Cavan Clerkin); a paternal loner battling infertility whilst failing to cope with the break-up of his long term relationship. When he accidentally stumbles upon the whereabouts of his now estranged ex fiancée Kesh, Terry sets out on a complicated journey to piece his life back together.

On discovering that she’s since moved on, Terry finds himself catapulted into a world of despair in which he’s forced to confront his deepest anxieties.

The crossing is a film produced in conjunction with Creative England and the BFI Network as part of the iShorts programme. It was selected as one of 15 films in the UK to Recieve industry funding. It has been selected to premiere at the BAFTA accredited short film festival Aesthetica in November 2016, and is currently being submitted to festivals all around the world.
